- Position mesh: Lay new fiberglass or aluminum mesh flat over the frame.
- Roll in the cord: Use a spline roller tool to press the cord into the groove, starting at the corners and pulling the mesh taut as you roll.
- Trim excess: Run a sharp utility knife along the outer edge of the channel to cut away extra mesh.
Confirm the existing frame-channel size before ordering. Cut spline to length and press it evenly into the groove with a screen roller.
