Installation Steps
- Remove old material: Pry out the old cord using a flathead screwdriver or pick tool.
- Position mesh: Lay new fiberglass or aluminum mesh flat over the frame.
- Roll in the cord: Use a spline roller tool to press the cord into the groove, starting at the corners and pulling the mesh taut as you roll.
- Trim excess: Run a sharp utility knife along the outer edge of the channel to cut away extra mesh.
Confirm that the frame uses a flat spline profile. Cut to length, align mesh, and press the spline into the groove with a roller.
